Neelesh Tiruviluamala double majored in Mathematics and Physics at Dartmouth college and completed his PhD at UCLA in pure mathematics under the direction of Dr. James Ralston. His broad research interests include partial differential equations and machine learning. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Mathematics Department at the University of Southern California. He loves teaching, working with students on challenging and interesting problems, and being involved in campus life. He also enjoys sharing ideas and making connections across disciplines with his colleagues in academia and industry.
